Employment Support

Our free employment workshops have enabled women in Derby to gain the support and skills needed to get back into work. Past workshops have focused on writing a good CV, writing an effective cover letter, managing your time wisely and preparing for interviews.

When: 21st February from 1-3pm

Want to know more about General Health and Safety in the workplace? Come along to our free employment workshop and learn more! You'll get a certificate on the day but please be aware that it isn't an accreditated course. 

When: We are also running four one-off employment workshops over the next few months:

• Back to work and confidence building (20th March from 1-2.30pm)
• CV writing (3rd April from 1-2.30pm)
• Interview techniques (17th April from 1-2.30pm)
• Mock interviews (1st May from 1-2.30pm)

Pregnancy Testing

We are now offering pregnancy testing at the Centre every day. Please bring a sample with you or we will be unable to perform the test. We ask for a £1 donation to cover running costs.
