Got a query about DWC? Here are some of the common questions that we're asked about the Centre and our services.

Q: Do you have creche facilities?

We don't currently have a creche at the Centre but this is one of our key priorities now that we'll have additional space next door.

Q: Are there parking facilities nearby?

There is a pay-and-display car park on Wilmot Street, which is very near to the Centre. The car park next to the Centre is currently reserved for staff parking only and we ask that service users don't use this space when visiting. Leopold Street is regularly patrolled by a traffic warden and if you park on the road outside the building, be aware that you're running the risk of picking up a ticket.

Q: Do you charge for services?

We aim to provide free services but in some cases we will need to implement charges, notably for the counselling service. Beyond this, charges attached to a particular service or activity will be highlighted on the Activities or Services pages of the website (and on the Facebook page).

Q: How can I find out what's happening at the Centre without checking the website all the time?

We'll be introducing an e-Bulletin soon, which will be sent once a month. Signing up for this will bring together details of the activities, services and fundraising events that are planned for the coming month straight to your inbox, so you'll always know what's coming up. Q: I'm a big supporter of the work that you do and would like to make a donation. How do I do this?

All donations - however big or small - will be gratefully received at the Centre. The Donate page offers more information on our current fundraising target and how to donate by text message, credit/debit card, cheque or in-person.
